Spring 2025 Screenwriting Contest Closes Tomorrow!

Spring 2025 Screenwriting Contest Extended!

Spring 2025 Screenwriting Contest Extended – closing on June 1st!

Thank you to everyone who has entered our Spring 2025 Contests so far.

The volume of entries into our Screenwriting has made it tricky for us to get our analyses of the script’s first ten pages to all our entrants before the standard deadline. The extension will leave enough time for everyone who’s entered to respond to the feedback and submit an improved redraft before the contest closes. Make sure to keep an eye on your inboxes for your feedback!

“Writing needs to be as rich and deep as life feels to people.” We recently discussed this topic in our Script Development and Outlining Course. Here is an insights article from writer and WriteMovies Academy subscriber Claire Heathcote where she discusses her thoughts on depth in writing after watching the Netflix comedy-thriller “Dead to Me” – see if you agree!
