Studio Coverage - What an analyst would say about your script.
Studio Coverage shows you the same feedback that a studio analyst would present to executives or agents when you submit for consideration. If they turn you down they are extremely unlikely to reconsider, so learn in advance what they would say before you actually submit it!
Cost: $179
Development Notes - Address every issue that needs fixing.
Development Notes are the feedback that writers who have been optioned will receive from the studios and production companies. Unlike Studio Coverage, which is about recommending to the executive whether to acquire a project, these notes are geared purely towards helping you address every issue that needs fixing in detail. Alex will also provide detailed margin notes for the entire script.
On top of this, through your email exchanges, Alex can get a good idea of your goals and provide you with bespoke guidance on how to get there.
“Nothing makes me happier when one of my clients comes back to me with a deal. Remember: this is not some script consulting service, this is mentorship. Most of my clients have been with me for years because it is hard to find anyone who will tell you the truth in this business. My only agenda is your success.”
Available for $299.
Development Margin Notes - See exactly where the issues are.
Development Margin Notes provide the same level of detail as the Development Notes listed above but without the report. The benefit of this option is that it allows you to see exactly where the issues with your script are, alongside Alex’s recommendation on how to fix them.
Cost: $250
New Project Concept Pitch - Constructive feedback and suggestions.
Few things are more important than getting your script’s concept right before investing months of your life on a project that has little chance of selling from the get-go. Alex is glad to provide you constructive feedback as well as improvement suggestions on your pitch – either up to four pitches of up to half a page each, or one longer synopsis of up to four pages.
Cost: $100
