The competition is starting to really heat up as we get closer to announcing the winner of the Winter 2020 Screenwriting Contest… and today is Semi-Finals day!

In just a couple of weeks time, we’ll be revealing the winner of our $2000 Grand Prize and top three scripts that will receive development and pitching to industry from us. Don’t forget that if you want to win these kind of prizes but didn’t enter this time, our Sci-Fi and Fantasy Award 2020 and Summer 2020 Screenwriting Contest are both now open for submissions.

But for now, congratulations to everyone who has made it this far. Every script that got through to the semi-finals has done well to stand out from the crowd – whether with a clever concept, an engaging story, or characters with depth – and proven its quality.
