We’re thrilled to unveil the WriteMovies 2024 Screenwriting Contest Quarter Finalists!
It’s been a delight to read through all your submissions! Last week we announced the winners of our Horror Award, Romance and Comedy Award, and Sci-Fi and Fantasy Award. With all the entries to our Genre Awards also getting submitted to our Main Contest, we’ve had the pleasure of reviewing a wide variety of stories.
The quarter-finals are an exciting stage of the competition, offering insight into emerging trends and spotlighting the leading contenders to become prize winners!
For entrants, this is your opportunity to see how your work measures up against the competition. If you didn’t advance to this stage, treat it as a sign to continue to sharpen your craft. Focus on growth and come back even stronger next time.
And to those who secured a place in the quarter-finals, congratulations! Be sure to watch out for the upcoming announcement of the semi-finalists on December 13th.

Winners will receive a year of script development, representation from TalentScout International Management and pitching of your script to the international industry!
