After a tough final round of judging, our Summer 2020 Screenwriting Contest comes to an end – and the winners are decided!

A big thank-you to everyone who entered, this has been a hotly contested competition and we’ve read a lot great scripts of all genres. WriteMovies wouldn’t be what it is without your support – and we, in turn, are determined to do our best for all you writers out there!

That’s a huge part of our decision to raise the Grand Prize for our Fall 2020 Screenwriting Contest to $3500. Click here if you want to enter – the contest is already open, as is our latest genre prize, the Horror Award 2020!

As ever, we’re looking for scripts with a unique premise that immediately grabs us, characters and stories that we invest in, and sharply written dialogue – and with guaranteed pitching to industry as one of the prizes for our winners, strong commercial potential is also vital!

These are all elements that our Summer 2020 winners delivered on. If you’re unsure how to improve your work to take it to that level, buy one of our scripts reports to get the expert feedback you need – and you’ll also get free entry to the Fall Contest!

Ladies and gentlemen, we give you: the WriteMovies Summer 2020 Screenwriting Contest winners!
