We don’t just talk about taking your script to the heart of the industry – we do it. We’re actively producing films with the likes of double Oscar nominee and double BAFTA winner Habib Zargarpour, and actively seeking scripts to package with fellow producers and with directors Sean Hughes and Brandon Sonnier.
We pitch all our winners to our Industry Mailing List of over 600 subscribers including dozens at major studios, agencies and other key positions. In recent years we’ve met and pitched to a wide variety of top producers and facilitators in person on both sides of the Atlantic, including Impossible Dream Entertainment (recent Oscar winners with GET OUT and BLACKKKLANSMAN) and Film4 (THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI; 12 YEARS A SLAVE), and we continue to enhance our networks and access through the likes of BAFTA and BAFTA LA.
We also regularly consult the expertise of our pool of Elite Mentors including producers Tom Craig (SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, RAIN MAN), multi-produced screenwriters Bobby Lee Darby and Nathan Brookes, and our wider network of producers such as SCARFACE producer Peter Saphier. We produced WriteMovies winning script THE LIST in 2006 by Marcus Folmar, which was distributed for a decade by Warner Brothers – and now we’re selling it again, taking the process full circle!
