Thank you for all your entries to the WriteMovies’ Writing Contest 80 Pitch Entry, which closed on November 9th. We’ve enjoyed judging your pitches and are excited to announce that our WMC80 Pitch Entry winner is: MOVIEOKE by John Mazzullo!

Congratulations to John for delivering a clear pitch containing an outline for a project that features a unique concept that follows a strong protagonist with a clear arc.

We’re really looking forward to helping develop your project and taking it to the international entertainment industry through TalentScout International Management.

Our Pitch Entry allowed contest entrants to submit a pitch document alongside their screenplay. Pitch Entries were required to provide information about the project in 500 words or fewer. John’s pitch gave us a clear overview of the plot, whilst showcasing details about the protagonist and their arc that is central to the story.

Announcements for WriteMovies’ Writing Contest 80 will continue next week with the announcement of our Semi-Finalists, followed by the three overall winners being announced on December 19th.

The top three scripts will win the same prize as our Pitch Entry winner – a year of script development, guaranteed representation through TalentScout International Management, and pitching of their developed idea to the top of the international entertainment industry.
