Introducing THE LONELY – a WriteMovies Award Winner! A modern horror about a curse that spreads inside a women’s prison.

Introducing THE LONELY

THE LONELY is a modern horror about a curse that spreads inside a women’s prison.

A chilling blend of prison tension and supernatural dread. It’s a claustrophobic, intelligent horror featuring nuanced female leads fighting to survive both their trauma and their surroundings.

The Lonely taps into anxieties about contagion, isolation, and human connection. Perfect themes for a post-pandemic, terminally online world.

In a marketplace that demands intelligent horror, this film will appeal to fans of It Follows (2014), Hereditary (2018), and Heretic (2024), whilst offering an attractive budget-to-profit ratio with its confined setting and emphasis on psychological horror over effects.
