July 4th may have come and gone, but we’ve got a celebration of our own: it’s time to announce the quarter-finalists of the WriteMovies 2022 Writing Contest!
It’s been a real pleasure reading all your submissions. With the entries to our Horror Award, Romance and Comedy Award, and Sci-Fi and Fantasy Award also getting submitted to the Grand Prize contest, this has been one of our most varied competitions ever.
The quarter-finals are always an exciting stage. We start to see the trends in scripts at the moment, and the contenders for the top prize emerge!
For everyone who submitted, this is your chance to see how you compare to the competition. If you haven’t made the cut, that’s just a sign that there’s still work to do; keep developing your skills, figure out where things went wrong, and come back stronger.
And for those of you who made the quarter-finals? Congratulations! Watch out for semi-finals, which are coming up on July 22nd.
